The Government of the Republic of Moldova places special emphasis on consolidating the growth of the IT industry as well as on expanding its potential.This vector is clearly outlined by strategic documents such as the National Strategy “Digital Moldova-2020” and the Strategy for increasing the industrial competitiveness of IT, which sets priorities and interventions in this regard.
Recognizing the close link between the IT industry and innovation, a holistic goal-critical assessment of stakeholders has been carried out to further unlock and console economic and social opportunities.To this end, a clear vision of the challenges and opportunities currently facing the IT industry was generated with the support of international expertise through the country assessment, dedicated to the “National Framework for Digital Innovation”, developed by the experience of the International Telecommunication Union.
